This section of orthotropic deck was an excellent acquisition for the S-BRITE Center as such components are not commonly used day to day.  Rather, orthotropic deck panels are traditionally only used where stiffness is needed and light weight.  The specimens were used for full-scale testing sponsored by the MTA that was conducted at Lehigh University.
